SHORT COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT

TRAINING THEME: AGRIBUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS FOR GRADUATES

 

Graduate Training for Skills Development, Sustainable Employment and Jobs Creation in the Agricultural Sector in Tanzania is a project implemented by Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) funded by the Skills Development Fund. The program is monitored by the Tanzania Education Authority (TEA). The overall objective of the project is to develop skilled and competitive graduate workforce capable of effectively fostering Productive Jobs for inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth through the transformation of Agriculture, Agri-Business, and Agro-Processing in Tanzania.

1. Agribusiness: An Overview

2. Entrepreneurship Development

3. Business plan in Horticulture

4. Horticultural Produce Marketing

5. Business Records.

Eligibility: The courses will be delivered to graduates with an interest in horticulture as their carrier business. Applicants will be required to submit a one-page motivation letter and fill the application form (attached). The Project will cover the costs for breakfast and lunch during training. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
