Dastun Gabriel Msuya (Ph.D.) is a Professor in Farming Systems and Seed Technology. He has extensive experience in teaching. Currently, he is teaching Seed Technology at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, Farming Systems and Technology Integration, Horticultural Farming Systems; he also has taught several other courses including Principles of Agriculture, Plant Propagation and Nursery Management, and several other subjects especially in Horticulture. Prof Msuya’s involvement in research has enabled the publication of 25 papers including review articles in World-renowned peer-reviewed Journals.
He is especially interested in the exploitation of rare agricultural practices and research on plant biodiversity. He is one of the founder members of the Plant Breeders Association of Tanzania and a prospective member of the International Society for Development and Sustainability. He has played the role of peer reviewer in several journals.
