Ramadhani Omari Majubwa (PhD) is a Lecturer in the Department of Crop Science and Horticulture at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). His teaching, research and consultancy interests are on Production and Postharvest handling of fresh horticultural crops/Produce. Ramadhani holds a PhD in Horticulture (Postharvest-Major, Food Sciences-Minor) of the University of Florida, USA. His current research foci are on postharvest physiology, postharvest technologies, best production and handling practices of horticultural crops for quality and safe produces. Ramadhani has a diverse of teaching and research experiences in horticulture (production to postharvest).
Currently, Ramadhani through the project “Capacity building on produce postharvest management in Tanzania” funded by the Horticulture innovation Lab at UC Davis/ USAID, work on strengthening the capacity of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) and related stakeholders on postharvest handling of horticultural crop.
