The Department congratulates Zahara H. Mkuki for graduating with an MSc. (Agricultural Education and Extension). She graduated on 18th December 2020. Her research is titled Agricultural Extension Officers’ Perceptions On Their Roles: A Case Study Of Agricultural Extension Officers’ In Simiyu Region.
Zahara H. Mkuki is a Tutorial Assistant at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). She is currently pursuing an MSc. in Agricultural Education and Extension at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Community Development. She graduated BSc. in Applied Agricultural Extension from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in 2014. She also holds a Diploma in General Agriculture from the Ministry of Agriculture Training Institute (MATI)- Ukiriguru.
Previous work experience: Zahara has worked with the Ministry of Agriculture Food Security and Cooperatives as an agricultural extension officer for nine years (9) from 2010 to 2020 at the village and district level respectively. She also worked in an organization named Building Resources Across Communities (BRAC)-Tanzania from August 2007 to June 2010 as Community Organizer (CO) where her core responsibility was establishing women groups and help them to access loans from BRAC.
