Dr. Joshua Samwel Kidudu holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Education and Extension from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) based in Morogoro Tanzania which was funded by The Kirkhouse Trust. He obtained his MSc. Education from the University of Edinburgh based in Scotland United Kingdom with the support of the Julius Nyerere Masters Scholarship. He graduated with First Class BSc. Agricultural Education and Extension from Sokoine University of Agriculture found in Morogoro Tanzania.
After graduating from his Diploma in Education from Klerruu Teachers College found in Iringa Tanzania, He worked with Prime Education Network as a trainer of primary school teachers who were supposed to upgrade to secondary school education level. He also worked with the Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) as a secondary school teacher. Furthermore, Dr. Kidudu worked with the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) as a Technical Assistant to Seed Policy Action Node project in Tanzania.
Dr. Kidudu has an extensive experience in seed systems and seed regulatory framework ranging from seed policies, Acts, regulations and guidelines. He has worked extensively with numerous seed stakeholders including smallholder farmers, Quality Declared Seed producers, Authorized seed inspectors, seed companies, ASA, TOSCI, ARIs etc. Dr. Kidudu is an expert in administration and management of groups, projects and organizations as well as multi stakeholders’ teams.
Dr. Kidudu is an expert in Agricultural extension approaches as well as extension methods. Currently He is The General Secretary to Tanzania Society of Agricultural Education and Extension Professionals.
