Tanzania international model conference of the United Nations (TIMUN) 2021 was held at Zanzibar in August 2021. The UN general assembly model was attended by 157 delegates from 17 different countries of the world.
During the conference, Brian Edmound Ndossy, a Bachelor of Community Development (BCD) student at Sokoine University of Agriculture, participated as a delegate representing Afghanistan. Brian was awarded a free plane ticket for his committment to attending the model conference. The theme of the UN conference was “Youth engagement towards realisation of sustainable development goals a decade of action.”
The Department of Agricultural Extension and Community Development would like to congratulate him for such an outstanding achievement. The department also encouraged other students to emulate his example.
