The Department would like to congratulate Dr. Nzalayaimisi for publishing a book chapter in Book Title, “Mission und dekoloniale Perspektive.” The title of his book chapter is, “In Praise of the African Berliners: some reflections on World War I in the Berlin Mission Society fields up to 139. In brief, the Berlin Mission Society (BMS) started working in Eastern Tanzania in 1887. In 1891it began its work in Sourthen Tanzania…The BMS built churches and houses for the mission’s expatriate staff to inhabit. They built primary schools, middle schools, and teacher training colleges. For details, look for the book chaper and read it.
