Students visit Udzungwa Montains National Park

Some of the students pursuing a Bachelor of Community Development (BCD) had an opportunity to conduct a tour at Udzungwa Mountains National Park.

The students visited the national park to learn about and promote natural resource conservation. Conservation of natural resources is necessary in the attainment of sustainability. The students also created awareness to the surrounding communities on the importance of natural resource conservation.

Udzugwa mountains national park is a wildlife sanctuary that is located in central Tanzania between Iringa and Morogoro regions within the eastern arc mountains, 60km south of Mikumi national park along the Mikumi Ifakara road.
