On 26th September 2024 the University Council at its 177th meeting, promoted one members of academic staff in the department from the rank of Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor. The member is Prof. Rasel M. Madaha. Furthermore, the Appointment and Human Resource Management Committee at its 24th meeting held on Friday September 13th, 2024 promoted three (3) members of academic staff in the department from the rank of Lecturer to Senior Lecturer. The three members are Dr. Innocent Mathias Busindeli; Dr. Mabebe Erasmus Ntumva; and Dr. Vituce Jelasy Kalungwizi.
