MvenaProfessor Zebedayo Samwel Kayanda Mvena is an Associate Professor who has conducted several researches and published a number of journal articles. He has overseen the following researches at various positions:

  • ·Researcher and Project Leader in a multidisciplinary research in NORAD funded “The Role of Micro-environments in Agriculture” in HADO areas Dodoma Region;
  • ·Researcher in the IDRC funded multidisciplinary research on Soil Fertility Management in Lushoto and Gairo, Kilosa;
  • ·Researcher in the SADC “Management of Miombo Woodlands Project” funded by the European Commission and administered by Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), Indonesia.
  • ·Researcher and Team Leader, Sustainable Water Use Research Project funded by the Water Research Fund for Southern Africa;
  • ·Researcher in the Formulation of Weaning Foods project funded by NORAD
  • ·Researcher in Wildlife Population and Human-Wildlife Interactions in and Around Saadani National Park, Tanzania
  • ·Researcher in Farmer  Empowerment funded by NORAD
  • ·Vegetation change and land use in the Savannahs funded by ESSAP
