The students pursuing Bachelor of Community Development (BCD) conducted the first CDA General Meeting. The students have established CDA (Community Development Association) to promote the community development profession on campus. The students are of opinion that community development, as a practice and professional field, encourages popular participation.
And that the students priotize it. In their first meeting they discussed and shared ideas with the members about the general direction of the association including the mission and the vision of the association. They also had a question and answer session where members were given free reign to question the motives of the association and by doing so suggest what ought to be done by the association in fullfilling its objectives.
