A new project on Agroecology

A new project titled Insect Service and Biodiversity in Agroecological Farming (ISeBAF) has been launched. This is collaboration between the Royal Museum for Central Africa (RMCA), Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS), Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) and Bioengineering at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

The main objectives of this project are to describe relationships between cucurbit crop production and insect biodiversity socio-economic analysis on cost-benefits, sustainability and productivity of small-scale cucurbit farming. The project will end in in 2024, and will complements activities of AGROVEG project.
