On Wednesday 28th August 2019, the Managing Director of Mtibwa Sugar Company, Mr Stan Rau and his team of farm managers visited SUA and held talks with SUA Management led by the Vive Chancellor, Prof. Raphael Chibunda, DVC Academic Prof. Peter Gillah and DVC administration and Finance, Prof. Eng. Frederick Kahimba.
The team visited various units under College of Agriculture (CoA) including Food processing lab., Soil analytics lab., Bioprocessing lab., Model Training Farm, the Crop museum and agro-mechanisation unit. The two parties agreed to forge long term collaborations in the field of agriculture.
